ABOUT: Get a taste for carding your own spinning fibre! Kim teaches you the basics of the drum carder, handling fibre and colour blending. Perfect for beginners to spinning with only a little experience, or experts that've never had a play on a drum carder. This little workshop usually takes around an hour. 

WHAT YOU NEED: This is for beginners so you don't need any previous blending experience although it's most beneficial for people with a bit of basic spinning experience! Materials available for use during class. You will take home 2x50g batt (colours and fibres of your choice!).

If we aren't busy, you're welcome to play more with the carder to try more techniques. (£1.00 if you bring your own clean fibre, or £3.50 for any additional batts using our Zero Waste fibre). There is also fibre available to buy in store if you want to get creative with plant-based, vegan or different wool blends.

NOTE: This is a club/event that is taking place IN STORE! Due to covid, we are restricting the amount of people in the shop at a time, so 4 people max. Please bring a mask with you when you come, though when you are seated, you are not required to wear them. We have spaced out our seating and try to keep the air flowing through the shop. Hand sanitiser is provided.
