INVOKE DUPLICITY 'Zero Waste' Rolags 50g

Rolags are wonderful because they are completely ready-to-spin. They are prepared by combing different fibres together and then drafted as they are rolled. This makes rolags ideal for practicing long-draw (if you want) and eliminates any fibre preparation you would have to do with other types of spinning fibre (like braids or locks).

Unique hand picked colourways and fibre blends. 50g (Aprox 4-6 rolags)
Approx fibre content:
25% British Wool
15% Zero Waste/Botany Lap Waste
25% Linen
25% Rose
10% Bamboo

About this Colourway:
There's a very cute blue Tiefling named Jester (from Critical Role Campaign 2), and she's stolen my heart so fiercely. Her favourite snack is pastries and her spiritual weapon is a giant lollipop! There's a cosplay artist on instagram @itsginnydi who does a brilliant version of her- and these rolags are inspired by that! Her short little felt cape is a deep green, she's got blue hair, light blue skin and a dark navy skirt, with bright white shirts and pops of colour on her belt, in her hair and of course her purple/reddish eyes.

Spinning tip: All this gorgeous fibre comes from a British mill and it's a mixture of dyed tops, dyed fleeces, natural tops and end of runs on the blending machines. I love using this because I love taking something that might be unwanted or unused, and giving it a new life and some love. And anything we can do to reduce waste is a-okay with me! From what I can guess, here's the types of fibres that are in this batt: Shetland, BFL, Linen, Bamboo, Rose and other natural wools.

ZERO WASTE: Sometimes there just isn't enough of something to make a large run of it, sometimes you get to the end of a run of colour and you end up with bits and pieces left over. We collect these bits and pieces, put them together and come up with something beautiful. Each of these rolags have complimentary nepps for a tweed effect, and some pops of colour add-ins. They are full of surprises, layered and drafted and rolled into little magic wands of fibre.

*Note! Because this is a zero-waste product, it's super limited edition and can not be repeated*

What is Botany Lap Waste? All this gorgeous fibre comes from a British mill and it's a mixture of dyed tops, dyed fleeces, natural tops and end of runs on the blending machines. I love using this because I love taking something that might be unwanted or unused, and giving it a new life and some love. And anything we can do to reduce waste is a-okay with me!
