ABOUT THE COLOURWAY (From Amy!):
Naive Watercolour is a muted pastel rainbow of blue, purple and green shades, with hints of pink and yellow and undyed areas. This is a more subdued version of my Ocean Rainbow colourway. Due to the dye technique used, no two skeins of this colourway are the same - if your project requires more than one skein - I recommend alternating skeins throughout.
ABOUT THE BASE: (From Amy!)
Merino Nylon is a soft, fingering weight blend of 75% Superwash Merino and 25% Nylon. The nylon content makes it perfect for socks, but it's still plenty soft enough for shawls, sweaters etc.
Fingering weight, 425m / 464yds.
Superwash wool is machine washable - I recommend using a wool/delicates cycle, or a 30 degree wash and laying flat to dry. I recommend washing items separately or hand washing for the first few washes as minimal colour bleeding may occur.
All yarn is from a smoke-free, cat friendly environment (although the cats are not allowed to play in the yarn!).
What's a Sock Blank?
These are so unique and one of our favourite trends! The dyer gets 100g of yarn that's been machine knitted into a length of fabric. The dyer then 'paints' the colourway onto the fabric and then the knitter (that's you!) takes the end and unravels it as you knit. It's such a fun way to jazz up your knitting if you wanna try something new- it also gives a unique look to the dyed yarn which is difficult to replicate in other ways. This sock blank is knitted up with one strand.
