Natural Tussah Silk. Tops

This fibre is un-dyed and un-bleached. And it's processed at a British Mill. (braided picture is 100g)

WILD TUSSAH SILK
About the fibre: This is called 'Wild' because the silk worms are not in a controlled environment- after all, they are wild animals! These worms eat juniper leaves and oak. A little courser than Mulberry silk, at least these little dudes get to roam around free.

Spinning tip: Silk is wonderful to spin on it's own, but can get it also adds a great shine and silkiness to a project if you mix it together with a wool.
