Gaming Postcard: Rogue, Barbarian, Love my DM, Bard

Gaming series: Inspired by popular tabletop role playing games like D&D (no affiliation) and other fantasy games/media- this series showcases different adventurer types and are perfect for a group or party of players. Grab one to show your love for a particular class, or send to a friend to remind them how awesome they are. Kim wanted to keep the 'pen and paper' vibe of traditional role playing games, so there's some nods to that in the way the designs are drawn, but brought up to date with some fun silhouettes created digitally.

Digitally printed on glossy postcard paper these are standard postcard size but would also look nice as a small piece of art.

Original design hand drawn with quill and ink, then digitally composited by Kim Smith.

THE DESIGNS:
Rogue: A deep dark purplish red background, with the word 'Rogue' in the middle. A set of daggers frame the words.

Barbarian: Two great axes cross each other under the word 'Barbarian' on a blood red background.

I Heart My DM: A light red background with the phrase 'I love my DM' in big letters and a small 'Please don't kill us' underneath. The 'love' is represented by a big heart.

Bard: A mustardy-orange background, with the words 'Bard' in the middle. Above the words are some medieval music notes and below is a lute.

WHY WE STOCK THIS:
These are designed by Kim Smith (owner of AU) and printed in the UK, so they are locally made. Kim studied as an Illustrator at Camberwell (University of the Arts, London) so it's fun for her to stretch her designing muscles. The designs range from peeks into her sketchbooks, and silly sayings to motivational quotes. We've had a lot of people say that having a small piece of artwork keeps them going on tough days, and that's pretty cool.
