Black Welsh. British Wool Tops

This wool fibre is un-dyed. It's 100% British and processed at a British Mill.

BLACK WELSH
About the fibre: approx. 31-35 microns and 80-100mm. The only purely black breed of sheep, the Black Welsh is super unique and a great way to produce something distinctly British. Try mixing this dark fleece with another colour for a humbug effect.

Spinning tip: This fibre has a lot of tough little hairs that tend to come flying off as you spin, so I would wear an apron with this. It does spin up beautifully though and I personally find it very fun! Suitable for felting also!

Sold in braids (100g) and in tops by the 10g. If you're not sure how much to get, but want enough to make something out of it, I'd suggest 100g.
