"Steel" ECO-NYLON Biodegradable Braid

Biodegradable Eco-Nylon BRAIDS Fibre 100g

Sold by the 100g and prepared in braids to keep the fibres tidy. (If you've never used a braid before, you simply pull one end and it unravels and turns back into tops ready for spinning!)

STEEL BIODEGRADABLE ECO-NYLON
100% Amni-Soul Eco ® Nylon
"Fibre: Bio-Nylon
Fibre Thickness: 3 Denier
Fibre Length: circa 88mm
Top Thickness: Circa 1 inch
A very exciting range of eco-friendly Nylon tops for fibre crafters.

With Amni Soul Eco® technology, this collection has been designed to be planet friendly, vegan friendly and a great alternative to those looking to expand their fibre use.

About this colour way: This is a plain dyed light grey, a little on the cool side. Perfect accompaniment to pretty much any colour.

Eco-Nylon
About the fibre: This is a wonderful NEW fibre that I suspect will completely replace 'normal' nylon. Designed to bio-degrade under landfill conditions within 5 years instead of the usual 50+, this stuff has a super long staple length and gorgeous FLUFFY texture that mimics wool pretty well. It's manufactured by recycling processed water. Easy wash and fast drying it's also certified Oeko-Tex® safe for the skin (both Adults and Children).

If you have ANY questions about this awesome vegan fibre, feel free to message us!

Spinning tip: This has a super long staple length- check out that photo on the palm on my hand. It is STRONG and very versatile. It's a lot bouncier than a lot of other plant-based fibre so you can pretty much treat it as a very long wool. Just grab some and start spinning! It's a little less grippy than wool but not as slippy as bamboo.

Ideal for jumbo knitting, spinning and needle felting (amongst others).
(Message us if you want a BIG amount for arm knitting)
